Concept: Ferring Christmas party with Travel theme

Event Republic conducted a Christmas party in Ferring’s own building. The employees arrived initially to Ferring’s lobby, which had been converted into an airport with 14 flight attendants, tax-free bags, flight arrival/departure screens, a giant picture of the aircraft parked at the airport, etc.

From there, passengers were called to the “gate” where they got ready to board.

In the parking basement, Event Republic had built a plane in size 1/1 with room for 338 passengers. Participants were guided to the plane where the flight attendants took them through the safety instructions. We were now ready for “take off”, watching a 3 x 8 meters animated screen that viewed the window of a cockpit. The plane drove down the runway, and when airborne, Ferring’s CEO appeared and gave his speech wearing an pilot’s uniform.

When the plane “landed” the participants saw a total 12 tons of sand outside the plane – we were in Brazil. We had transformed the entire parking basement into a beautiful sandy beach with palm trees, samba band, delicious cocktails, football players, and a large beach lounge.

The employees were really happy and surprised that we had managed to first transform the basement into a plane and then, during dinner, remove it and change the setting into a sandy beach with no one even noticing it.
