Energinet: Inauguration of Viking Link

Event Republic also operates as an event agency in Jutland. Here, Event Republic was responsible for the inauguration of Energinet’s major celebration of the world’s longest electricity cable connection, Viking Link between Denmark and the UK. The event took place in a tent set up for 150 guests. Event Republic was responsible for the creative content in the tent, as well as coordinating with AV to ensure a direct connection to the UK.

The inauguration ceremony took place in parallel with the British inauguration, where the button had to be “pressed” simultaneously and officially inaugurate Viking Link.
