Ministry of Higher Education and Science and IT University Copenhagen – Opening of the Research Day with a visit from the Crown Princess, ITU Copenhagen

To kick off Research Day, ITU hosted the opening this year.

Event Republic was responsible for lighting and sound, decoration, setting up stands for the “Hacker Zone”, delicious food and snacks, as well as a juice bar with freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices from our talented partner Thomas Perry.

We were also responsible for the VIP area for the Crown Princess and areas with press pools for the press, as well as welcoming the 3oo invited students.

Purpose: To gather students from different educational institutions to participate in the opening of Research Day to learn about technological developments under the theme “The Hackers Are Coming” and how we can better protect our identity and confidential information when we go online via our smartphones and tablets.

Solution: Opening event with a welcome and presentations and speeches from, among others, Minister for Higher Education and Science Søren Pind, followed by a “Hacker Zone” with exhibition stands and a reception in ITU’s atrium.
