
Lyreco Convention
Customer and supplier fair with 70 stands, kick-offs for all departments, Group update, award show, gala dinner and party. Event Republic have worked with Lyreco to arrange this annual event for more than ten years running, including a hybrid component.
Event Republic handled planning, logistics and execution of the event, which went on for two days, with 600 delegates at Tivoli Hotel & Congress Center in Copenhagen.
Purpose: Lyreco wanted to set strategy for the new year, show the direction for the employees and give the customers, suppliers and sales teams knowledge on all new and existing products from the catalogue. Our goal was to create the right scene for this with focus on smooth communication and logistics.
Solution: All 600 delegates were transported to Copenhagen with shuttle busses or airplanes from all over Scandinavia. Friday started with an expo for the key clients followed by networking dinner. Saturday began early with supplier fair where all Lyreco employees learned about the new products. After the expo everybody were gathered in the large conference hall for a State of the Nation talk before they were split up into departments for the annual kick-offs. When all meetings were executed it was time for the award show, where best employees of the year were acknowledged.Last but not least, a gala dinner, party and entertainment in the large conference hall. Our focus was on detailed planning according to theme and logistics.
Result: The evaluation showed that the new strategy was well received by the attendees and that the overall response to Convention is very positive.
