
Maersk Line “Changing how we sell” conference
Conference with 180 Maersk Line executives from around the world. Event Republic handled the content, planning and execution of the conference as well as dinners, hotel and logistics. The conference lasted five days and took place in Munich, BMW Welt.
Purpose: Implementation of a new sales strategy, “Changing the way we sell”, which had to be communicated to the participants. The goal was to make the participants understand and take ownership of the strategy
Solution: The conference was held at BMW Welt (one of Maersk Line’s customers) to cement the importance of customers. Targeted content in terms of streamlined communication, informative presentations, interactivity among participants & focus on business.
Result: The conference was evaluated twice. Both immediately after the conference and one year later. The first evaluation showed that the participants understood the strategy and that there was a positive energy and commitment to implementing it. The second evaluation showed that the new sales strategy has been implemented effectively and with great impact.
