A global virtual research festival that brings together experts and researchers to share and network through interactive sessions and live Q&A.
Purpose: R&ED Connect was organised to bring together researchers, experts and stakeholders from around the world in an interactive and global research enterprise. The aim was to create a platform for knowledge sharing, networking and discussions on current research-related topics.
Solution: Event Republic handled all the logistics of a two-day virtual event consisting of plenary sessions and 13 specialised R&ED Connect sessions. Each session included a 30-minute presentation followed by a live Q&A. And to ensure global participation, the sessions were customised to the different time zones, allowing attendees to register in advance to receive calendar invitations to their chosen sessions. The plenary sessions were streamed live, but the R&ED Connect sessions were conducted via Teams.
Result: The event became a successful global platform for researchers and experts to share knowledge, make new connections and inspire each other. Event Republic ensured a seamless digital experience with technical support, interactive formats and professional execution. Overall, a well-structured approach to planning and communication made R&ED Connect an engaging and dynamic knowledge festival.
